The Children's oncology group foundation
Annual report - 2023
Dear Friends:
In the Children’s Oncology Group, we are united by our shared vision to improve the outcomes for children, adolescents, and young adults with cancer.
We are physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other professionals who deliver care on the frontline. We are researchers who develop new treatments to improve survival and reduce side-effects. We are parents and family members who see the impact of pediatric cancer and its treatment every day. We are so many, so different, and yet so united in our commitment to work together for a common purpose.
As leaders of COG, we are deeply grateful for you, our dedicated donors who help us take on the greatest challenges of this disease. Philanthropic gifts to the COG Foundation play an essential role in our ability to pursue research projects for every type of pediatric cancer, including some of the most rare and difficult to treat. Cancer can affect every part of a child's life, and with your help, we're working to understand the social and emotional needs of our patients and their families.
Your collective generosity reaches across the more than 220 institutions based in the U.S., Canada, Australia and New Zealand that make up the COG network. With your help we will continue to relentlessly pursue patient-centered research that increases survival rates while reducing short-term side effects at the bedside and long-term complications of treatment.
We know that many of you give because pediatric cancer has impacted your life. With every gift you make to the COG Foundation, we honor the child your gift represents. Thank you for being a voice, a compassionate supporter and a member of our COG community. Thank you for investing in research and spreading our shared hope for more lives saved.
